Tom Frieden called on health care professionals to ignore the new recommendation from the "unscientific group of people." An ex-director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention took on the agency’s vaccine advisory panel on Friday for voting to trash a long-standing recommendation that all newborns in the U.S. get vaccinated for hepatitis B.
